Food Vendor General Information

 

The Argyle Bluegrass Festival is currently accepting applications for Food Vendors for March 7 and 8, 2008.  We are looking forward to presenting a wide variety of delicious and eclectic food.  If you would like to apply for a Food Vendor Booth, fill out the application and return it by February 15, 2008.  Applications are processed and spaces filled on a first come first served basis and at the discretion of the festival.

In order to have a consistent, quality, clean look at the event, we require that all participating vendors have a professional presentation and adhere to all Festival guidelines.

  • All vendors must be Argyle area non-profit organizations.
  • Vendors are required to provide their own insurance or purchase coverage from the Festival’s insurer ($90).  Proof of existing coverage or $90 payment must accompany the application.
  • It is our intent to promote homemade, made on site food items.  No items may be sold that are restaurant branded and/or in restaurant logo packaging. 
  • No cooking under tent.  Any vendor cooking on site must provide their own fire extinguisher.
  • Vendors may only sell items outlined on the application and approved by the Festival.
  • Vendors will be required to comply with the provisions of the festival’s beverage sponsor agreement, selling only the products supplied by the sponsor.
  • Vendors may not display or sell alcoholic beverages in any form.
  • Prices must be posted in a legible manner.
  • Vendors are responsible for cash on hand to make change.
  • Ice will be available to purchase (at our cost), or vendor may provide their own.
  • Each vendor must provide their own utensils, napkins, condiments, etc.  in sufficient quantities.
  • All proceeds from vendor sales belong to the vendor, no commissions are assessed.  Vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting, and paying any taxes, fees, and assessments required by any applicable federal, state, or local law.
  • Booths must be manned at all times and are required to be open during specified hours both days.
    • Friday, March 2, 5 pm – 8:30 pm
    • Saturday, March 3, 11 am – 8:30 pm
